Staff Nurse and Operating Department Practitioner

We are looking for a Theatre Staff Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner to work in a Rural General Hospital with a wide range of surgical specialties including day case elective general surgery, cataracts, oculoplastics, dentals, gynaecology and endoscopy.

• Provide efficient and high‑quality theatre service across all specialties.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering safe and patient‑centred care.
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice and promote continuous improvement.
• Support and train newly qualified staff and develop your own clinical skills.

• Registered nurse with valid RN registration.
• Experience in peri‑operative care is desirable.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Permanent full‑time 36‑hour post, Monday to Friday with overnight and weekend on‑call rotations as required. A valid driver’s licence is required.
