RnR is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher for a two‑term placement at a warm and nurturing primary school in Wickford, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and engaging teacher who thrives on helping young learners take their first steps in education. The role involves leading a Reception class through their crucial early learning journey, supported by a strong team and excellent school leadership.

Our welcoming primary school places a strong emphasis on early childhood development, creativity, and play‑based learning. With an experienced EYFS team and a focus on creating a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment, children are encouraged to explore, question, and build confidence. • Teach a Reception class following the EYFS framework
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities to inspire young learners
• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment
• Work closely with the EYFS team, parents, and support staff
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
• Promote curiosity, creativity, and confidence in early learning

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception setting
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A nurturing and patient approach, with a commitment to every child’s development
