Nursery / Reception (EYFS/Early Years) ASD Specialist, ACADEMICS

Location: Wickford, Essex

Education and training: A Good Primary School in Wickford is looking to recruit a full‑time, long‑term Nursery / Reception (EYFS / Early Years) ASD Specialist for the rest of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Work in Reception, offering 1‑1 support.
• Deliver Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing groups and 1‑1 sessions; support with MAKATON.
• Provide personal care to young, non‑verbal students with ASD.
• Deliver creative, sensory‑based activities.

Qualifications:

• Degree from a reputable university.
• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience/knowledge of non‑verbal ASD.
• Engaging, bubbly, and nurturing personality.
• Comfortable working within a large team.

Job Details:

• Full time, full academic year.
• ASAP start.
• £88‑£105 per day.
