Academics are seeking passionate Team Teach Trained SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a specialist School in Wickford. This is an opportunity to make a difference in a supportive and nurturing environment, with potential for long-term and permanent job opportunities. The job is starting September and for the right individual it will extend to the end of the academic year.

• Building secure relationships with children & young people
• Understanding of the specific needs of the children especially those with trauma
• Support pupils with social and emotional needs
• Working 1:1 with the pupil

• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity
• Desirable experience:
  Care work, working in a PRU, SEMH experience
