We are recruiting on behalf of our reputable client, a busy distribution centre based in Wickford, Essex.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Picker and Packer. This role involves accurately picking and packing goods using both scanners and paper-based orders, ensuring items are ready for timely delivery. You will be expected to maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and health and safety within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders using barcode scanners and paper pick lists
• Prepare goods for dispatch according to delivery requirements
• Complete order documentation accurately
• Adhere to warehouse health and safety standards
• Support general warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Recent experience in a picking and packing role is essential
• Confident using scanners
• Attention to detail and high accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good standard of spoken and written English
