RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grain Etch parts using acids in tank.
- Verification of parts to paperwork.
- Load/Unload parts per PEI.
- Soak parts in acids and rinse properly with water.
- Operate power washing equipment.
- Hand dry parts or operate automatic parts washer.
- Communicate issues with Waste Water Department and Level II Inspector.
- Monitor acid tank levels and schedule change‑outs.
- Perform daily gage audits on acid tanks.
- Record all work performed in Lot Control.
- Perform other duties in department as assigned by supervision.
- Keep the work area in a clean, orderly and safe working condition.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Must have good attendance record.
- No written or higher warnings for quality or attendance.
- Must show ability to follow detailed procedures reliably.
- Able to meet daily production goals.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to be self‑directed and motivated.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
- Operator is required to pass certification test after training.
- Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).
- Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
- Certification and completion of written exam in accordance with applicable SOP.
- Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required).
