Teacher Active is proud to be working with an expanding school nursery in Wideopen. The nursery is well‑sought after, thanks to its outdoor forest area, and boasts a good OFSTED rating. It focuses on providing exceptionally high standards of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care while utilising the best pedagogical approaches to ensure well‑rounded individuals are prepared for their next big adventure in Primary School.

We are looking for a Room Leader to join on a long‑term basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The nursery caters for children aged 9 months to 3 years. You will need to be confident in formulating and operating a programme of activities suitable for the range of children attending the nursery, in conjunction with the Headteacher, and therefore a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum is essential.

The right Room Leader will also show confidence in observations, age and stage checks, and updating this alongside each child’s learning plan regularly.

• Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualification (required)
• Minimum 1 year experience in nurseries/room leading
