Position: Associate Director within our growing Contract Services division in the UK.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will:
- Drive change in the largest organisations in the country.
- Engage on and influence large‑scale flagship projects.

- Create new and innovative service offerings to the market.
- Lead and develop an outstanding team of specialist procurement and other consultants.
Main Expectations:
- Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
- Lead and manage end‑to‑end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
- Lead and support the development of the procurement services provided by Turner & Townsend.
- Lead and develop a team to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
- Manage client relationships and related commission outputs and deliverables.
- Lead and support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
- Lead on bid preparation and proposal documentation and support the work‑winning capability of the contract services division.
- Support the delivery of both team and wider business targets.

Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated procurement, particularly Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
- Leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes for public and private sector clients.
- Strong background in tender preparation, development and management.
- Commission, client relationship, and people management experience.
- Experience with NEC and JCT contract forms.
- Desired: cross‑sector experience and a strong public procurement background.
- Willingness to work towards MCIPs accreditation.
- Business generation experience including bid development.
- Preferable: degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
- Preferable: experience in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc.) sectors.
- Valid (SC) Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
Skills:
- Lead and develop key strategies and documentation for major procurement projects.
- Manage and supervise delivery teams.
- Build strong, professional client relationships and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Develop supplier evaluation, commercial principles, modelling and supply chain intelligence strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail.
