Temporary Accounts Assistant

Overview

Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable) near Liverpool. This is a temporary assignment from £13.00 to £14.50 per hour, with a 3- to 6-month duration and potential for extension. We are seeking someone with strong technical AP skills and prior experience using Sage 200 to start as soon as possible in a tech-based logistics environment.

• Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verify invoices have been loaded via SICON or input invoices to Sage if not uploaded via SICON.
• Raise purchase orders as needed.
• Obtain invoice approval for payments.
• Manage payment runs (suppliers, capex, foreign, intercompany, PAYE).
• Conduct account reconciliations.
• Download bank statements, post transactions and share relevant details with team members.
• Clear down emails in the accounts inbox.

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable roles, ideally in fast-paced environments.
• Confident using Sage 200.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to processing.
• Clear communicator, confident dealing with suppliers directly.
• Reliable, efficient and able to work independently or collaboratively.
