We are looking for a (30 Hours) experienced medical receptionist who would like to join our busy and friendly practice.
Working Monday-Friday with a weekly rota of shifts allocated between the hours of 8-6.30pm.
The role will include both reception, phone and administrative tasks.
Main duties of the jobAdministrative and reception work could include some or all of the following:
communicate with patients, clinicians and external organisations both face-to-face and viathe telephone.

Care Navigation
Makeappointment bookings and respond to a variety of enquires
Processprescriptions
Openand sort post and take deliveries
Receivepayments from patients
Actas a central point of communication, taking messages and carrying out actionsas required
Offer general support to colleagues/clinicians/patients,as required
About usOur team consists of GP's, ANP, Nurses, Clinical Pharmacist, admin staff, reception staff, secretary, Practice Manager and Deputy Manager.
The team is hard working and friendly with a 'we can do' attitude.

Person Specification Experience- Able to listen and problem solve
- Positive working ethic
- Can work effectively in a busy environment
- Reliable, flexible and resilient
- Good team player
- Computer literate, comfortable with using various software systems on a daily basis
- Good attention to detail, able to maintain accuracy with data input
- Able to follow processes to deliver consistent working methods
- Experience of working in a GP Practice
- Experience with EMIS clinical system
- GCSE grade A to C in English and maths
