Transport Admin Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role as Transport Admin Team Leader at Widnes to oversee the execution of the Transport Admin Team and provide support/cover for the bulk planning and provide admin support to all areas of the transport team.

• Ensure the Transport Admin team is suitably trained and supported to complete all daily tasks
• Provide admin support to the transport planning team
• Liaise with customer services/account managers/MDM to ensure the execution of all plans runs smoothly
• Liaise with operations and transport managers
• Provide holiday/sickness cover for the bulk planning
• Provide support/cover for the Transport Co‑Ordinator particularly related to failed deliveries
• Provide support/cover for the fleet administrator particularly related to purchase orders

• Team lead/supervisory experience
• A hands on/practical approach
• Ideally, experience of working within a Transport team
• Good computer and communication skills
• Someone who works well in a team
