Accounts Assistant

Recruit 4 Construction is recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an established North West main contractor. Its teams deliver projects across multiple sectors, and the finance team plays a vital part in keeping suppliers, subcontractors and projects moving.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys getting the details right, keeping things organised and being a dependable part of a busy team. What you’ll be doing

* Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records

* Supporting the sales ledger and helping to maintain customer and supplier accounts

* Assisting with CIS applications and payments

* Keeping financial records and filing organised and up to date

* Using the company’s accounting systems, including Evolution

* Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks

What we’re looking for

* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach

* Confidence handling confidential information

* Strong organisation and time management

* A reliable, helpful approach to working with colleagues

* The ability to commute to the Widnes office

Experience in an accounts or finance role would be helpful. Knowledge of CIS or Evolution would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
