Temporary GCSE English Teacher (5th Jan - April)
Widnes, Further Education College
Pay: £220 - £250 per day
Type:
Temp – 4 days per week
Monday to Thursday: 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lessons for GCSE English Language students based on a pre‑planned curriculum.
- Mark AQA GCSE English Language assessments and handle related administrative duties such as tracking progress and reporting.
- Support learners who have experienced disruption due to previous teacher changes, employing a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Familiarity with the AQA exam board and experience marking GCSE assessments.
- Organised and proactive in managing lesson plans, assessments, and administrative tasks.
- Adaptability and teamwork: ability to build rapport quickly and support students effectively, especially those with learning disruptions.
- DBS check required.
