Connex Education is proud to be supporting a wonderful Primary school in Widnes as they seek a dedicated Y1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January, this role is working alongside the class teacher 3 days per week.

This is a part-time role, Wednesday to Friday, 8.30-3.30pm , You will be assiting the class teacher and working closley with the KS1 team, through tout the day you will take small groups of pupils to assist maths and English, You may on occasion be asked to work some part of the working week to provide some 1-1 support to a couple of the pupils with SEN sharing the responsability with the employed 1-1 TA , experience working 1-1 is also desirbale.

• Providing tailored 1:1 support to a child with a range of SEN needs
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to ensure pupils thrive
• Helping to create a nurturing, inclusive and positive learning environment
• Assisting with routines, smooth transitions, and personalised support plans

• Experience working with KS1 and SEN pupils
