SEN Teaching Assistant

Liverpool

Salary: £90 - £110 per day

Contract:

Full-time, Term-time

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including those with challenging behaviours.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all learners.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with SEN students in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
