Tutor, Teacher Assistant​/ Paraprofessional, Special Needs ​/ Learning Disabilities

1:1 Tutors - Widnes & surrounding areas

£25-£28 per hour | Flexible hours | Immediate starts available

• Teaching English, Maths or Science at KS2-KS4
• Planning engaging sessions based on the National Curriculum
• Supporting learners with SEND or SEMH needs, including anxiety, ASD, ADHD or trauma‑related barriers
• Helping children gradually transition back into school or structured learning
• Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and families
• Creating a safe, encouraging environment that supports progress

This role is ideal for teachers, tutors, HLTA/TAs or learning mentors with strong subject knowledge and a passion for making an impact.

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English and/or Science
• At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• QTS / PGCE (Desirable)
• Experience with SEND / SEMH / LAC
