📢 The Opportunity

Exclusive Education is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Design Technology Teacher to work at a welcoming secondary school in the Widnes area. This is a long-term, ongoing role with an immediate start, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring creativity and practical skills in students.

🛠️ Role & Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging and effective Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

* Teach a range of DT specialisms (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Food Technology)

* Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum

* Encourage creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills

* Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment

* Work collaboratively with the DT department and wider school staff

✅ Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Specialism in Design Technology or a related subject

* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
