Freelance End-Point Assessor (Education & Early Years
We are seeking Freelance End-Point Assessors to complete assessments for Early Years Apprenticeship Standards from from Playworker Level 2 through to Early Years Educator Level 3 and Specialist Teaching Assistant Level 5.
We are looking for assessors to conduct assessments across England.
Desirable locations for assessors to be based in or near:
- Cumbria
- Norfolk
- Bath
- Bournemouth
- Cornwall
- Central London
- Kent
- South Yorkshire
- Gloucester
- Midlands
Please be mindful that these End-Point Assessments include a face-to-face component, therefore travel is expected.
As an End-Point Assessor, you will play an integral part in the success of apprentices by supporting them in taking the assessments for their apprenticeship and grading their assessment(s).
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering End-Point Assessment in line with Early Years Lead Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Early Years Practitioner and Specialist Teaching Assistant
- Working with the Education and Early Years Manager to support and drive the Early Years EPA team.
- Conducting high quality End Point Assessment.
- Using our EPA platform to record EPAs, completing all grading justifications within 2 days of EPA completion.
- Keeping CPD record up-to-date.
- Raising any known conflicts of interest with NQual.
- Informing NQual of any concerns of malpractice/maladministration.
- Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.
- Engaging with internal quality assurance processes
- Actively participating in development activities and meetings
- Keeping up-to-date with all policies relevant to EPA.
- Any other activities as deemed necessary by the organisation
- Requirement to travel. Access to own transport with an ability/willingness to travel as required.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Hold a qualification in Early Years Level 3 or above.
- Have at least 3 years’ occupational competency within an Early Years specialism
- Have experience of producing clear and accurate reports
- Are able to work independently with excellent time management and organisational skills, and as part of a wider team supporting our freelance End Point Assessors
- Have the ability to recognise change and improvement requirements and offer a solution driven approach
- Are able to develop rapport with team members, customers and stakeholders
- Have a passion for Early Years and education and the opportunities that it brings to others.
