Eden Brown are seeking a passionate and committed Foundation Studies Lecturer to join a dedicated team at Leading Further Education College in Widnes on a temporary, part time basis.

This rewarding role involves teaching and supporting learners with a range of additional learning needs, helping them develop the academic, personal and employability skills they need to progress towards greater independence, further study or employment.

You will deliver a varied and engaging curriculum across the Foundation Studies provision, for the following timetable:

• Monday 13.00 - 16.00
• Pathway to Progression, Mixed Options - IT, Enrichment games
• Tuesday 13.00 - 16.00
• Job Club - preparing pre-interns for work experience, interview skills etc etc.
• Thursday 9.00 - 12.00
• Functional Skills Maths
• Friday 9.00 - 12.00
• Functional Skills English

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching within Further Education, Foundation Learning or SEND provision.
• Can plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Is committed to promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes for learners.
• Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Additional Learning Support staff.
• Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
