The Supply Register is proud to be working alongside Wade Deacon Academy, who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or someone with relevant classroom experience who is passionate about supporting students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The Role- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and work set by teaching staff
- Ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students with their classwork where appropriate
- Maintaining a positive, safe and productive learning environment
- Taking registers and following school procedures
- Providing support to students across a range of subjects
- Encouraging students to work independently
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate member of staff
- Working closely with teachers and other school staff
- Following safeguarding and school policies at all times
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisor who can make a positive difference to students at Wade Deacon Academy.
Experience as a:- Cover Supervisor
- Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
- Classroom Support Assistant
- Education Support Worker
- Graduate with classroom experience
- Sports Coach or Youth Worker
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident and professional approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
- A genuine commitment to supporting students' learning
- Good understanding of safeguarding and school procedures
- A fully enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- DBS REQUIREMENT
- A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this role. Candidates must be able to provide their DBS details for verification before commencing work.
PAY: £110 PER DAY
