Adaptable Recruitment are excited to be working with a not for profit based organisation near Warrington who is looking to recruit a high calibre Accounts Payable and Treasury Manager to join their team on a 12-18 month FTC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Control and monitor the end to end accounts payable process including reconciliation of statements, payment runs and tight month end close process.
  • Ensuring that the trade creditorsare appropriately managed and accurately reflected in both the purchase and general ledger.
  • Oversee business expense reimbursements ensuring payments are made in accordance to policy.
  • Oversee the administration and reconciliation of all business bank accounts
  • Overseeing the processing of all incoming receipts to ensure they are allocated accurately and timely to the appropriate account.
  • Overseeing petty cash/ Lloyds corporate card management, administration, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure all invoice queries are resolved in a timely manner, encouraging the team to problem solve and engage with the wider business and suppliers as required.
  • Manage supplier statement reconciliations on a timely basis and ensure credit notes are received as required.
  • Continuously monitor teams KPI’s ensuring the most appropriate method is used to measure performance.
  • Use of one-to-ones and appraisals as management tools, creating a cooperative and supportive team environment in the process.
  • To undertake any other duties as may be required for the performance of the post.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
  • Significant Accounts Payable experience in a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience of analysing large volume data
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile, environment.
  • Leadership and management of individuals with varying skill sets
Competencies, skills and experience
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Able to develop and build sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent excel skills and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
