Are you an experienced pricing professional looking to make a real commercial impact across an evolving multi-site manufacturing business?

We are recruiting for a Lead Pricing Analyst to join a growing organisation and play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategy across multiple UK operations. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Commercial Excellence, you will combine hands-on analysis with strategic influence, partnering with key stakeholders across the business to drive profitability, pricing performance, and commercial decision-making.

The Role

As Lead Pricing Analyst, you'll take ownership of pricing analytics and strategy across the UK business. This is a highly visible position that will see you working closely with commercial, finance, sales, and operational teams to develop robust pricing models, improve processes, and support key business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining pricing models, tools, and analytical frameworks
  • Analysing competitor pricing, material costs, market trends, and internal performance data
  • Supporting customer quotations and commercial pricing decisions
  • Monitoring margins and pricing performance across multiple business units
  • Conducting scenario modelling and profitability analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Producing insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to justify and influence financial decisions
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across pricing processes and methodologies
  • Contributing to the development and execution of wider pricing and commercial strategies
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to business leaders and key stakeholders
About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with commercial awareness and the confidence to influence stakeholders.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven pricing analysis experience, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong understanding of commercial pricing principles, margin management, and profitability analysis
  • Experience partnering with finance and commercial stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and data analysis
  • Strong Power BI experience
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Sage
  • The ability to challenge existing processes and drive positive change
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Why Apply?
  • Opportunity to lead pricing strategy across a large multi-site UK operation
  • Highly visible role with direct exposure to senior leadership
  • Mix of strategic influence and hands-on analytical work
  • Significant opportunity to drive change and improve commercial performance
  • Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility on location (could also possibly be based out of Alton or Tredegar as alternatives).

If you’re a commercially minded pricing professional looking to step into a high-impact leadership role, we’d love to hear from you!
