St Patricks Care Home is a 40-bed nursing home in Widnes providing general nursing and specialist dementia care for adults, including long-term, respite, and palliative care services.

We are looking for a hard working, compassionate individual who is looking to care for elderly residents and is willing to support them and respect them at all times.

We require a good team member who will positively develop and maintain effective working relationship’s this will include staff members, service users and professionals you will liaise with.

We recognise that it takes an individual with inspirational passion and a kind nature to make a difference to the lives of others and our Care Homes will give you the opportunity to get to know the residents and their families and help ensure that truly personalised care is delivered.

Hours:

3x 33 hours 1x 37 hours

• Delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support, assisting residents with personal care needs while promoting dignity, privacy, choice, and independence
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and support
• Contributing to care planning, reviews, and record-keeping, ensuring accurate documentation and effective communication
• Supporting residents to participate in meaningful activities and opportunities that enhance their wellbeing and quality of life
• Safeguarding residents by following health and safety procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and reporting any concerns in line with policies and regulatory requirements
