Procurement Manager

A leading manufacturer in the chemical manufacturing sector is seeking a Procurement Manager to take full ownership of their UK procurement function. This role offers you the opportunity to shape procurement strategy, influence sourcing decisions, and deliver measurable business impact within a supportive international network. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy, working closely with colleagues across multiple functions and sites, including an established European manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do:

As Procurement Manager, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for the procurement function at a thriving UK manufacturing site. Your day-to-day activities will involve:

• Develop and implement robust procurement strategies for chemical raw materials and packaging.
• Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, payment terms and long-term supply agreements.
• Identify opportunities for supplier rationalisation, category management and strategic sourcing to optimise spend across all product categories.
