We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Cleaner to join our Widnes depot on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows established cleaning routines, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Who You Will Be Working ForNRG Riverside is the UK’s largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, providing specialist vehicles on short and long‑term hire, a range of vehicle maintenance packages and a portfolio of high‑quality used vehicles for sale. Established in 1996, we support customers to rationalise and decarbonise fleets, save money and improve efficiency by reducing ‘Vehicle Off Road’ time.
Qualifications & Experience- Experience in a similar cleaning role
- Good attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, responsibility and a flexible approach to work
- Cleaning experience preferred; full training will be provided if necessary
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Perform routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting)
- Clean and sanitise toilets, kitchens and common areas
- Empty bins and ensure proper waste disposal
- Restock supplies (paper products, soap, cleaning materials)
- Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets and upholstery
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or damages to the supervisor
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene guidelines
- Store and handle cleaning equipment properly
- Assist with deep‑cleaning tasks or special projects when required
- Excellent depot‑based bonus of up to £500
