Overview
Sheet Metal Worker (days) – Widnes – circa £16.27ph + overtime (x1.5) – Contract to permanent role
Responsibilities- Use of non-operator metal working machinery and welding equipment appropriate to each job.
- Check the materials issued for each job as specified in the production order and detailed in the works order.
- Do quality checks.
- Work as part of a team to deliver products on time.
- Work in line with H&S policies.
- Ability to read and work directly from drawings.
- Knowledge of general metalworking machines e.g. hydraulic metalworker, MAG drilling equipment, Pillar drill.
- Skills in manual propane cutting.
- Your experience in sheet metal work including light to medium fabrication.
