Widnes, West Bank | £12.71 per hour (increasing after probation) | Monday-Friday | 7am-3:30pm | Temp to Perm

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a

Goods Out / Production Operative to join a food manufacturing business in

West Bank, Widnes
, specialising in dry cured and tank cured bacon and gammon.

Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced

Production Operative, Goods Out Operative or FLT Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.

An RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence, refreshed within the last three years, is essential for this role.

Key Duties

During Training - approximately 12 weeks:

  • Operate production machinery.
  • Pack and label products.
  • Follow strict food hygiene regulations.
  • Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines.
  • Carry out clean-down and hygiene duties.
  • Perform quality checks on products.

After Training:

  • Store stock safely and efficiently.
  • Move raw materials into production areas.
  • Continue quality checks and hygiene duties.
Requirements
  • RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence, refreshed within the last three years.
  • Previous FLT experience.
  • Previous production experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Hands-on and proactive approach.
