Powder Blending Production Manager

Salary: 37,500 - 40,000 (after probation)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Location: Widnes, UK
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

We're seeking an experienced Powder Blending Production Manager to take ownership of a busy production department within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive operational performance, manage and develop your team, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are consistently achieved.

• Manage the day-to-day running of the Powder Blending department
• Plan production schedules to meet customer demand
• Lead, motivate, and develop production teams
• Ensure orders are delivered on time, in full, and to specification
• Maintain stock accuracy, traceability, and batch records
• Ensure compliance with allergen controls, CCPs, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage staffing, training, performance, and attendance
• Work closely with Warehouse, Technical, Engineering, and Office teams
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions

• Minimum 3 years' Powder Blending experience (essential)
• Proven experience managing teams within food manufacturing
• Strong production planning and raw material management skills
• Knowledge of allergens, CCPs, and food safety requirements
• Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office
• A confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Results-driven, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
