Support at Home is looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to join our growing clinical team.
Working alongside our Clinical Lead, you'll use your professional expertise to support the safe delivery of complex care within people's own homes through clinical guidance, staff development, competency assessment and quality assurance.

About the role
This is
not
a traditional nursing role.
You won't carry a nursing caseload or provide routine hands‑on nursing interventions. Instead, you'll work alongside our Clinical Lead and Registered Manager to support the safe delivery of complex care through clinical oversight, governance and workforce development.
The role combines office-based work with community visits, providing variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships with our care teams and the people we support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting assessments and reviews for individuals with complex healthcare needs.
- Developing and reviewing person‑centred care plans.
- Completing competency assessments for care staff.
- Delivering clinical training and coaching.
- Supporting delegated healthcare interventions.
- Carrying out quality assurance visits.
- Participating in clinical audits and governance activities.
- Monitoring clinical documentation and standards.
- Liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Continuing Healthcare teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Supporting continuous learning and service improvement.
About you
You'll be an experienced Registered Adult Nurse who enjoys supporting others and wants to use your nursing knowledge in a role centred on leadership, guidance and clinical quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical judgement.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Community or District Nursing experience.
- Complex Care experience.
- Continuing Healthcare experience.
