Class 1 Driver - Tescos

Location and Shift Availability

Class 1 Driver – Widnes. Shifts available between 12:00 pm and 12:00 am with start times from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am. Day shift patterns run Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday; PM shifts run Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

£16.98 – £20.55 per hour, depending on shift days/times.

This is a full‑time Class 1 Driver role, initially temporary to permanent for suitable candidates.

• Multidrop deliveries between customer sites (1–6 drops per shift).
• Safely operate the vehicle in accordance with business standards.
• Load and unload trailers at each drop, ensuring roll cages are positioned as required.
• Complete and sign off all necessary paperwork before leaving each site.
• Perform vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and secure load compliance with VOSA.

• HGV0 licence (Class
  1).
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• No more than six penalty points on licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• Multidrop driving experience.
• Can‑do attitude.

Must pass a driving assessment (theory and practical) to work with the client.
