HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver - Widnes, Cheshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire
.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, ongoing work, and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading transport and logistics company.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver or Tanker Driver.
Rates of Pay- £19.00 per hour
- £25.00 night out allowance per night
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 05:00 and 06:00
- Regular nights out required

As an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver
, you will work:
- Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing between two and four deliveries per day across the North West
- Loading and unloading vehicles, including handball duties where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location
- Reporting delivery issues or customer concerns to the transport team
- Completing all delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records accurately
- Complying with all ADR, Driver Hours, and road transport regulations
To be successful as an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver
, you will need:
- A minimum of two years' HGV Class 1 driving experience
- A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A valid ADR Licence
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsements)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
- First-day site assessment
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
- Previous experience completing HGV Class 1 multi-drop deliveries would be advantageous
- Previous ADR driving experience would be beneficial
