HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver - Widnes, Cheshire
People Solutions  are currently recruiting for an  HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver  to join our well-established client based in  Widnes, Cheshire .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, ongoing work, and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading transport and logistics company.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an  HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver or Tanker Driver.
Rates of Pay:
£19.00 per hour
£25.00 night out allowance per night
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Start times between 05:00 and 06:00
Regular nights out required

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an  HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver , you will work:
Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
Completing between two and four deliveries per day across the North West
Loading and unloading vehicles, including handball duties where required
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location
Reporting delivery issues or customer concerns to the transport team
Completing all delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records accurately
Complying with all ADR, Driver Hours, and road transport regulations

Skills:

To be successful as an  HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver , you will need:
A minimum of two years' HGV Class 1 driving experience
A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A valid ADR Licence
No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsements)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
Training:
First-day site assessment
Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
Previous experience completing HGV Class 1 multi-drop deliveries would be advantageous
Previous ADR driving experience would be beneficial
