Warehouse Operative (Assembly) – Temporary Contract
We are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our team of agency workers assembling wheel-based metal cages at our busy warehouse facility for our client based in Widnes
, WA8 0PB
. After end of the contract, you will be offered to move to the main tray-wash shit on 4 on 4 off rotation role from December 2026

Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the assembly of metal cages using basic tools, ensuring all products are built to the required standard and safety guidelines.

• Assembling wheel-based metal cages
• Using basic hand tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Meeting daily productivity targets

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 – 16:00
• Unpaid 30 min break a day

• £12.71 per hour

• 4-month temporary contract
• Opportunity to transition into the main operation (tray wash/recycle) upon completion
• Progression and extension of the assignment to a 4 on / 4 off rotational shift pattern (subject to performance and availability) at the end of the 4 months contract

• No previous experience required – full training provided
• Good level of manual dexterity
• Ability to use basic tools
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated
• Physically capable of manual work
• Must be 18 and over
