In this position, you will be a key partner to our Senior Leadership Team, helping them to stay focused on what matters most. Your ability to organise, communicate, problem solve will support our organisations missions and values.
Role Summary
- Manage the workflow of SLT meetings, ensuring agendas, planning cycles, and actions stay on track.
- Drive progress on agreed priorities, reporting back clearly to keep momentum across the team.
- Prepare documents, reports and presentations that support strong decision‑making.
- Liaise confidently with senior colleagues and external partners, ensuring communication is timely, accurate and aligned with our values.
- Coordinate key organisational events including staff meetings, Board meetings, Finance committee meetings, planning days and multi‑stakeholder meetings.
- Help connect internal teams by feeding back insights, identifying issues, and supporting solutions.
- Provide diary oversight, inbox support and information flow management for SLT members.
- Assist the CEO in delivering governance duties, preparing agendas, Board papers and capturing actions in a professional and confidential manner.
- Manage administration to support Financial Management and reporting.
General duties and other responsibilities:
- Undertake any training required for the role.
- Take an active interest in ensuring WBCF operates effectively, according to best practice and fulfils its obligations.
- Work within the team to maintain and achieve high standards and understand the importance of time management and meeting deadlines.
- Help to ensure that WBCF embraces diversity, challenges discrimination, and reflects the communities of the borough.
- The post holder will be expected to undertake other responsibilities and tasks as reasonably requested by their line manage

- Do you have strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel), CRM systems and databases?
- Are you well organised with great attention to detail? The role requires strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Do you have document/report/presentation preparation skills?
- Can you support to influence and build productive relationships?
- Are you flexible, resilient, and able to adapt quickly?
- Are you a good team player and enjoy working collaboratively and supporting others to succeed
- Can you act on own initiative without close supervision and to prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines?
