Think Family Safeguarding Administrator

A Vacancy at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Think Family Safeguarding Service (TFSS) for an administrator (22.5 hours per week). We are looking for a highly skilled administrator who will provide effective and confidential administrative support across the Think Family Safeguarding Service and work alongside the other staff members in the team.

The post holder will be based at Christopher Home, Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, working predominantly from this site but will also support and work across all elements of the service located at other Trust sites as directed by the Line Manager and workstream priorities. The post holder will be required to provide comprehensive, efficient, and high‑quality administrative services, prioritising and organising day‑to‑day workloads while maintaining confidentiality. The role includes implementation and maintenance of coherent systems/databases to facilitate management and analysis of safeguarding and children in care processes, using software such as Word, Excel, Access, and patient data systems.

The post holder will liaise with staff within and outside the organisation, including all professionals responsible for safeguarding, and will effectively communicate and distribute information to a wide range of recipients. All duties will be carried out confidentially and discreetly.
