A supportive SEN school in Wigan is currently looking for a committed and proactive individual to take on the role of School Receptionist within their administrative team. The role is full-time and available to start straight away, offering weekly pay of up to £600. For the right candidate, there is also the potential for the role to become permanent.
The Role - School Receptionist
As School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and parents, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. This varied role offers excellent exposure to different areas of school operations including administration, HR processes, and record management.
Key responsibilities include:
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
Welcoming visitors and signing them in securely in line with safeguarding procedures
Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems
Supporting general administrative duties within the school office
Assisting with documentation, communication, and organisational tasks
Experience with Hubmis school management software would be highly beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided.
