Remuneration: £45,000 – £55,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of Estimator – Commercial Fit Out will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with fit‑out and refurbishment projects for various industries such as leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs & restaurants
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Negotiating with sub‑contractors and suppliers
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contacting customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with sub‑contractors and suppliers
• Working on projects ranging in value up to £10m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Commercial Fit Out with:

• Extensive estimating experience within the construction fit‑out market sector
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
• Resilient individual
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Eque2 / Evaluate or similar
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Full UK driving licence
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Good team player who also works well individually
