Fire Surveyor

Rate: £300 - £380 per day (Temporary Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Fire Surveyor with a strong understanding of fire safety legislation and building safety compliance.

The role will involve carrying out fire risk assessments, inspecting residential properties, identifying fire safety risks, and ensuring buildings remain compliant with current regulations. You will be responsible for managing fire safety programmes, monitoring remedial works, and ensuring recommendations are completed to a high standard.

The right individual will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, and experience working within social housing, housing associations, or local authorities.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct fire safety inspections and identify risks.

Manage fire risk assessment actions and remedial works.

Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and regulations.

Oversee contractors and monitor work quality.

Provide fire safety advice and technical support.

Maintain accurate compliance records and reports.

Help ensure residents remain safe through effective fire safety management.

Job Criteria:

Previous experience as a Fire Surveyor or within a fire safety-focused role.

Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and building regulations.

Experience carrying out fire risk assessments and managing remedial works.

Understanding of passive and active fire safety measures.

Experience with in social housing, housing associations, or local authority environments is desirable.
