Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their commercial team based in Wigan.

The Role As Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will be responsible for:
Managing the commercial aspects of fit-out and roll-out projects from tender through to final account Preparing accurate estimates and competitive tender submissions Producing detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications Procuring subcontractors and obtaining competitive supplier quotations Preparing interim valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts Producing CVRs, cost reports, and commercial forecasts Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Supporting project handovers from pre-construction through to successful delivery

The Ideal Candidate The successful Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will have:
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or in a combined QS/Estimator role within the construction industry

Experience with in commercial fit-out, interiors, roll-out programmes, joinery, or specialist subcontracting would be highly advantageous Strong commercial awareness with excellent estimating ability Experience preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts Good understanding of JCT contracts Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills Good Microsoft Excel and IT skills Ability to manage multiple tenders and live projects simultaneously Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer Competitive basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000 Attractive benefits package Opportunity to join a growing specialist fit-out contractor Exposure to a diverse portfolio of national fit-out and roll-out programmes Long-term career progression within an expanding commercial team Ongoing professional development and training Supportive and collaborative working environment Apply:
