Grade 3, £9,334 per annum. £13.26 per hour
2 positions x 13.5 hours per week
Temporary until 30/10/26 (Seasonal 1st May to 31st October)

Your roleWe are seeking a proactive and customer‑focused individual to support the day‑to‑day operation of Haigh Woodland Park’s Visitor Services. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, assisting visitors with enquiries, bookings, ticketing, retail activity, and event support while helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment. You will support Visitor Centre operations, promote park services and activities, undertake administrative and cash‑handling duties, and work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to enhance the overall visitor experience in line with the Council’s Progress with Unity approach.
Aboutyou
We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and reliable individual with experience in a customer‑service environment and a passion for delivering excellent visitor experiences. You should have strong communication, organisational, and basic IT skills, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment. A flexible approach, confidence handling enquiries and transactions, and a commitment to maintaining safe and welcoming facilities are essential.
An interest in outdoor leisure, heritage, or visitor attractions is desirable, along with First Aid certification or a willingness to achieve this.
