Specialty Doctor in Haematology

Position Overview

Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) are looking to recruit a forward-thinking and motivated doctor to join our friendly and caring Haematology Team working on a fixed term contract until January 2027. This post is ideal for an experienced clinician with a good understanding of Haematology to join our dynamic team who are committed to the delivery of the highest standards of care.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and support our Haematology Department at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. The advertised position is full time with no on‑call commitments.

The successful applicant will undertake independent ward rounds.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to get involved in QIP/Audits and Teaching programme.

Candidate will have same educational and clinical supervision as in place for trainees.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Haematology and is looking to improve their knowledge, skills and considering a career in Haematology.

Full GMC registration with a licence to practice is essential for this role, holders of MRCP would be given preference, but it is not essential.
