Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Winstanley (WN3) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Year 6 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role starting as soon as possible.

This Year 6 Teaching Assistant position involves working one-to-one with a child in Year 6 who has Autism and Complex Needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable to the individual learning needs of the child. You will play a key role in supporting the pupil’s educational and emotional development within a structured and caring environment.

• Provide one-to-one support for a Year 6 pupil with Autism and Complex Needs
• Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day
• Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
• Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

• Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and Complex Needs
• Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to supporting the child’s academic and emotional development
