We are looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineering Trainer Assessor to our highly motivated and creative team.

This Trainer Assessor will be required to carry out group curriculum delivery, workplace assessments and prepare apprentices for end-point assessment.

This role also includes carrying out reviews and setting action plans for apprentices, including SMART Targets and the delivery of wider skills topics. The role will also include developing the College’s offer in this sector in conjunction with employer partners and awarding bodies.

Suitable candidates must have recognised industry qualifications/experience and ideally be confident in all aspects of workplace assessment using an electronic portfolio system. Assessment qualifications (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent), are desirable, however candidates without this will be considered and will need to work towards achievement as part of the role.
