Overview
Primary Teacher in Year 6 - Long Term
April (after Easter) - July at least in the first instance.
Location:
Wigan. Salary: £1300-£200 per day. This is a full-time role in Year 6 within a supportive UKS2 team.
- Tell/teach Year 6 curriculum and support pupils in the lead-up to end-of-year assessments.
- Collaborate with an experienced partner teacher with shared planning and regular teamwork throughout the term.
- Contribute to maintaining a calm, positive learning environment and high standards of behaviour.
- Deliver lessons confidently as part of a supportive UKS2 team.
- Hold QTS and have recent experience teaching Year 6 or Upper KS2 in a UK primary school.
- Be confident delivering the Year 6 curriculum and supporting pupils in the lead-up to end-of-year assessments.
- Have a calm, nurturing, and consistent approach to behaviour management.
- Work well as part of a team and contribute positively to shared planning.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
