HLTA – Full Time Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a well-established primary school in Orrell from September. This full-time role is ideal for a confident and adaptable professional who is ready to take on additional responsibility within the classroom.
About the RoleAs an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be required to lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher, deliver pre-planned lessons, and provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 when required
- Support planning and preparation of learning activities
- Lead small group interventions to raise attainment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progress
- Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
- Holds HLTA status or has significant equivalent experience
- Has strong classroom management skills and confidence leading a class
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability across year groups
- Has a solid understanding of the primary curriculum
- Is proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting high standards of education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
