KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher

We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a primary school in Hindley (WN2) to work on a temporary, long-term basis, commencing September 2026
.
The temporary KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role starts in September 2026
. This role is 5 full days per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30am–16:00pm. The KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher will work across all year groups, covering PPA as required. A weekly timetable will be provided and you will work closely with class teachers and support staff while undertaking PPA.
- Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
- Guiding children through the curriculum and marking work
- Managing behaviour
- Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
- Hold QTS
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- Be passionate and understanding
- Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
- Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
- Good communication skills
