We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Golborne, WA3 to work in the Year 2 class to support the Year 2 pupils with their learning. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

You’ll be joining a supportive and nurturing school, focused on supporting children to show respect, kindness and resilience. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

• Supporting across the Year 2 class, responding to all children's individual needs
• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
• Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team
