Primary Teaching Assistant Year 3

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and resource management.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with varying learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Leigh on a long-term supply basis, supporting a Year 3 class. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to making a positive impact on children's learning and development. Previous experience working within a primary school setting is desirable.
