SEND Tutor - Wigan

Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed and empathetic SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Wigan.
This role would suit an educator who can create a calm and supportive learning environment, adapt sessions to individual needs and help the learner develop both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition
- Plan sessions around the learner's individual needs
- Adapt teaching methods and resources
- Encourage positive engagement with education
Build confidence, independence and learning routines - Monitor progress and provide feedback
- Experience working with children or young people
- Previous experience supporting learners with SEND
- Patient, flexible and encouraging approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience desirable
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional child-related references
