The Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Tutor to join our Guidance team. As a Personal Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic progress, personal development and well-being throughout their time  will provide guidance, monitor student attendance and progress and help students set and achieve their educational and career goals.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people as they prepare for higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide regular one-to-one and group tutorials to support students' academic, personal and social development
- Monitor and track student attendance, progress and behaviour
- Support students in setting realistic academic and career goals and creating action plans
- Liaise with subject tutors, support service and parents/carers as appropriate
- Identify and refer students requiring additional support to relevant College services
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with College policies

About You- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their best
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting, preferably in a sixth form or education environment would be beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Understanding of safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- Organised and able to manage caseloads effectively- A positive, proactive and student centre approach
- Relevant qualification in education, counselling, youth work or related fields are desirable
